Read Across America Spirit Week is off to a great start with Red & White day!


Lolo 7th and 8th grade band students took part in a mass band festival at Hellgate Middle school. Students rehearsed with other middle school students from surrounding areas under the direction of retired Missoula band director and legend, Tim Aston and performed a final concert that afternoon. Fun was had by all and the students represented themselves and Lolo School in the best way!


Great night for book club in third grade. This year we added the Dragon in a Bag series to our book club and we were not disappointed. Families spent the last few months reading at home then came tonight to enjoy games and a dragon project. 3 lucky 3rd graders took home some great prizes to share with their family as well!

Lolo 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams kicked off their season last night against Target Range. 7th grade lost by 2 in overtime and 8th grade won their game. Great start to the season!





Tournament of multiplication baseball is off to a great start in 3rd grade. Fun way for the students to practice their facts.




Congratulations to all the students that participated in the Lolo School Spelling Bee today. 1st Place: Emma Olinger, 2nd Place: Westen King, 3rd Place: Brady Griffin, 4th Place: Marin Wright. The top 3 finishers will compete at the County Bee on February 23rd. Good Luck!





Fifth graders experimented with the visiting Naturalist today. They explored using “canimals” to determine whether larger or smaller animals can stay warmer in the winter.





Kindergarten had a blast celebrating 100 days of learning and fun!





Indian Education for All training today with our K-8 teachers. Thank you to Mrs. Marshall and Ms. Sutton for organizing and providing resources to our staff!




The 5th grade students made cargo boats today in science while exploring the properties of density and buoyancy.





The 5th grade made goodie bags for our soldier friends in the Middle East! Parents, students, and teachers donated time, food, and money to make individual goodie bags for 60 soldiers! We will be sending approximately 10 boxes of goodies!

2nd Graders collaborated with Mr. Long’s 7th grade class to make cookies. Then 2nd graders shared with with families at their Data Notebook Party.





Lolo School 3rd and 4th grade extra curricular choir students went on a Holiday Caroling trip this week to some senior living facilities. We had a blast singing and spreading holiday cheer!





3rd grade kicked off this chilly morning with a fun Family Friday. They have been reading and researching Holidays Around the World and finished the unit with an escape room. They traveled to six different countries this morning with the help of their families. Then ended the morning with 4th grade reading ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas.





The middle school ended the day with an assembly and a student vs. staff volleyball match. The assembly concluded with the SRO being pied in the face.
