Lolo Friends & Neighbors! Did you know that you can redirect your income tax dollars to Lolo School? True story! Through a state-approved tax credit program, individuals and businesses can donate to their local school and claim the full tax credit on the following year's tax cycle. Here's how:
1) Donate to Lolo School by January 20, 2026, and include the donation form (see www.loloschools.org).
2) School staff will enter the donation into the state's donation portal & notify donors when the donations are approved.
3) Donors can claim the tax credit on their 2027 state tax filing.
You're paying the taxes anyway. Why not redirect the money to support your local school?

We received around 100 ugly sweaters for our design competition in the library, and we were absolutely blown away! The creativity, festive spirit, and one-of-a-kind designs made judging a very tough job! Thank you to everyone that participated and shared their talent. We had two great Mystery Readers in Ms. Vance's class the last couple weeks! First we heard wacky stories from Wayside School with Ondine and then enjoyed learning about the magic of the season from the Polar Express with Noel. Thank you both for sharing favorite stories!

Kindergarten has been learning about North American bison this week. We've read nonfiction books to learn facts. We also read fiction books for enjoyment. Our favorite activity was exploring the Bison Box from the Confederated Salish-Kootenai Tribes (CSKT) Bison Range. We got to see and hold many bison parts and learn how Indigenous People used every part of the bison.
